It’s nearly that time of year again…

Building Green is running our DIY Green Roof course on 24-25 October in Brighton.

This is run with our partners Organic Roofs and Brighton Permaculture Trust. It’s the first of it’s kind in the UK, and was established back in 2007.

Learn hands on how green roofs work, question the experts about your project, and visit some inspirational examples in the city.

Free Green Roof Event

Find out everything you need to know about green roofs from leading expert Dusty Gedge and BioRegional.

Held at Eversheds’ London headquarters, close to St Paul’s Cathedral, these free seminars are aimed at all those thinking about installing or specifying a green roof.

The seminars include a tour of Eversheds’ cutting-edge green roof – the largest in London, a one hour introduction to green roofs from Dusty Gedge, the results of an exciting new green roof trial from BioRegional, along with a question and answer session.

Aimed at local authorities, developers, housing associations, architects and specifiers, you will find out about:

  • the benefits of green roofs
  • composts and substrates
  • types of green roofs
  • suitability for different applications.

There are three seminars to choose from, but don’t delay as places will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis:

  • Thursday 12th November: 9-11.30 am
  • Thursday 12th November: 2.30-5 pm
  • Friday 13th November: 9-11.30 am
